Whatever Happened to Romance?
Release Date: 9th July
Victoria Hart was catapulted into the spotlight after she wooed A List Hollywood stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt and the rest of the cast of Ocean’s 13 on board an exclusive yacht in Cannes last month. Her performance captivated the media and as a result several major labels started a bidding war to sign her. She has now signed to Decca Records / UCJ and is set to release her debut album on 9th July.
Victoria is just 18 years old, but when she sings you are transported to a bygone era; a time when cinemas were palaces not movie-plexes, when travel was exotic not cut price and flirting an innocent pleasure, not a prelude to a one night stand.
Victoria’s sultry vocals, glamorous look and vintage style draw you into her own special world, evocative of the 1940’s but with a fresh twist. You can almost imagine her sipping cocktails at the Ritz alongside the likes of Rita Hayworth and Ava Gardener.
Victoria’s debut album Whatever Happened to Romance? Reveals how she yearns for the world to be a more romantic place, one where old fashioned values are embraces and courtship cherished.
With a dreamy voice and the looks of Marilyn Monroe, Victoria conveys a frustration with modern romance that strikes a note with her growing contemporary audience.
