We're anything but apathetic about Menke's new video - 'Apathy'

Sweden's brilliant Menke has released the video for her new track 'Apathy' - taken from her upcoming EP, Echo Of Youth, out on the 27th September.

On her internationally acclaimed EP Till Havet, Menke interpreted eight poems from Swedish author Karin Boye. She managed to marriage her own music with Boye's words in such a way that the release transcended far beyond traditional language barriers. Her debut single - 'Moln' - has been streamed more than six million times on Spotify in many different global territories, making it one of the most internationally successful Swedish language songs ever.

On Menke's new EP Echo of Youth she has switched from the Swedish language to English, with the words also written by Menke. But still lingering are those Nordic shades of darkness and that eternal fragility between life and death, as is Menke's uniquely beautiful and soothing voice that has displayed such an ability to penetrate the hearts and souls of so many listeners.
