The Automatic - Recover

Following a runaway success like Monster was always going to be hard for The Automatic, so it is not much of a surprise to see them retreat backwards and release again their debut single Recover. This version is newly recorded, but is not a million miles away from the original. It still sounds a bit like Offspring, and still has the ultra annoying hysterical backing vocals that seems to be their trademark, the thing about them I find most aggravating.

Still, its quite a bouncy little pop song, not as good as Raoul, but better than most else on the album. The Automatic will be on the road throughout October and into November, here are the dates for your pleasure:
