Glasgow Indie-pop Quintet Hairband Share New Video
Glasgow-based quintet Hairband have this week shared a video for 'Flying', the latest single from their eponymous debut EP.
Formed in 2016, the group is pieced together with members from other Glasgow bands Breakfast Muff, Spinning Coin, Lush Purr and Kaputt.
The video was filmed in the dead of winter at an evening market, it almost makes you long for the bustle of Christmas markets and overpriced mulled wine. Talking about the video, the group said:
"Filming the video was magical, lots of mulled wine and dancing. It's just a real glimpse into friends having fun and making memories and I think that is a reflection of what we are doing as a band."
The EP will contain five songs and is set for release on 19th October. Watch the video for 'Flying' below now.
The band are on tour until November including an EP Launch event at Glasgow's Monorail Records store, which is also where their record label is based.
11th October - Monorail Records, Glasgow (EP Launch)
16th October - CCA, Glasgow (Supporting Say Sue Me)
26th + 27th October - Barrowlands, Glasgow (Supporting Sleaford Mods)
9th November - The Glad Cafe, Glasgow (Supporting Flasher)
