TDF Video Premiere: Millie Manders & The Shut Up - 'One That Got Away'

Music @ The Digital Fix have been busy this week and today is no exception. We are proud to premiere the video for Millie Manders & The Shut Up with their single 'One That Got Away'.

For anybody who loves ska punk, this is quintessentially that, mixing saxophone, and trombone alongside guitars, bass and vocals, this song seriously has some attitude. With a vocal somewhere between Joan Jett and Aimee from The Interrupters the overall attitude of the song is a good calling card for what is coming from the upcoming EP. The breakdown towards the end of the song will surely get the crowds hands up in the air and bodies bouncing off the walls.

Millie says about the song “I wrote the song about a relationship that got serious very fast and I ended up getting incredibly hurt, but I’ve realised since that I deserve better, I am better and I will be better. I’ll be the one that got away”.
