New Year Gigs To Look Out For - The Fall, The Kills and Whirlwind Heat

Yes, we know, Christmas is barely over, but we're always on the look out for things to do at CD Times, so we thought we'd share some details of some up and coming gigs to look out for over the next month or so.

There's the mighty The Fall who really need no introduction. Mark E Smith headlines a three night event featuring the likes of Mclusky, Jar Crew and Selfish Cunt as support. Dates are as follows:

Mon 2nd Feb The Fall, Mclusky, Jarcrew
Tue 3rd Feb The Fall, Jeffrey Lewis, Ill Ease
Wed 4th Feb The Fall, Pink Grease, Selfish Cunt

The Fall tickets are selling out fast. At present, only tickets for Monday 2nd Feb still available, but these will be gone soon...

Mean and moody twosome, The Kills play London Barfly on the Monday 9th February.

Again, at London Barfly, you can catch Whirlwind Heat on Friday 30th. Whirlwind Heat are a catchy little Michigan based rock/pop group, rather reminiscent of Pavement if Pavement played White Stripes songs whilst on drugs, possibly. You'll just have to go and see for yourself.

Tickets for the above events are all available from here
