Men Woman & Children new album and tour

Described as "a frenetic collision of disco, punk, electro and funk", ‘Men Women & Children’ are to release their self titled debut on the 24th April. Crammed full of irresistibly infectious songs, the album was produced by Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, The Faint), Rick Rubin protégé Jason Lader and partner Raine Maida as well as Josh Abraham (Velvet Revolver, Weezer), whilst Alan Moulder (NIN/Smashing Pumpkins) and Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, New Order) were on mixing duties.

‘Men Women & Children’ includes the first single ‘Dance In My Blood’ a definitive mission statement for the band. Other highlights include the flamboyant pop of ‘Photosynthesis (We’re Losing O2)’, the insistent disco beats of ‘Who Found Mr. Fabulous?’ and the dancefloor filling closer ‘Vowels’.

Men Women & Children were formed over two years ago when former Glassjaw guitarist Todd Weinstock, his bedroom DJ friend Nick Conceller and drummer David Sullivan Kaplan started work on a musically OTT and visually spectacular side-project. As it became apparent that the trio’s side-project was evolving into something special, they boosted their line-up with the addition of vocalist TJ Penzone and his brother Rick Penzone on bass, with Jason Gammule joining for live shows.

Since signing to Reprise, Men Women & Children have continued to flourish. A tour with the iconic Gang Of Four presented the band to their largest audience to date, whilst other shows found them billed with artists as varied as dance pioneer and former Studio 54 DJ Nicky Siano, visceral hardcore outfit The Blood Brothers, emo kings Thursday and DJ/producer Josh Wink.

“I wanted to do something different and I didn’t care what I did in my past”, admits Weinstock. “I just wanted to make fun music and have fun writing songs”.

Men Women & Children will play both legs of the Give It A Name festival and will also tour as support to Panic! At The Disco.
