Giant Drag - London Borderline
Giant Drag promoted their debut album "Hearts and Unicorns" with a show at London's Borderline last night.
The US band consist of Annie on vocals/guitar and Micah on drums and keyboards.Their sound is a stripped down version of US "Indie" rock.
Annie announced at the beginning of the set that she was severely jet lagged, leading to several hilarious moments during the set.
It's not many people who can make eating a bag of crisps entertaining.
Inbetween Annie's revelations concerning her slightly mad outlook on life some songs were played, including great versions of "Pretty Little Neighbour" and forthcoming single "This Isn't It".
The band couldn't be bothered going through the motions of going off stage for an encore so they stayed where they were, finishing the set with their cover of "Wicked game" and song of the night,"Kevin Is Gay".
The band continue their UK tour with a date at Liverpool Carling Academy on the 14th of April.
