New video from Abi Hudson - Warm In The Room
Following the wide acclaim of her debut single 'Fragile Around You', 18-year-old singer-songwriter Abi Hudson is back to unveil poignant second single 'Warm In The Room'.
Produced and co-written by Terry Ronald (Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud) and Steve Anderson (Britney Spears, Take That, Kylie Minogue), the stirring yet tender track reaffirms Hudson's raw talent and emotive flair, made all the more extraordinary by her tender age.
Blending her acoustic roots with catchy, intelligent pop, Hudson's vocal has drawn early comparisons to the legendary Stevie Nicks and Kate Bush. After releasing debut single 'Fragile Around You', Hudson garnered plaudits across music press online:
"Hudson's gorgeous vocal is the lynchpin... [a] pop smash" The Line Of Best Fit
"Stunning vocals... catchy pop with an acoustic undertone" 1883 Magazine
"An immediate, chill-inducing blend of big power pop melodies and howling vocals in the vein of big belters like Ella Henderson, Jess Glynne and Leona Lewis" Popcrush
"Amazing acoustic/pop vibes and an absolutely stunning vocal range" United By Pop
"...hints of Kate bush and Stevie Nicks" The Music Fix
Hailing from Bromley, Hudson has been working tirelessly to establish her extraordinary performing talent from an unusually young age. After years of honing her craft, Hudson has developed a charm and effortless stage presence that transcends her tender years. She can already count acclaimed performances at popular tastemaker nights such as Ella Guru (Pixie Lott's curated showcase) and cult London venues the Sebright Arms, The Underbelly and Barfly, to name a few.
'Warm In The Room' is the second instalment from Hudson's anticipated debut EP, due for release later this year. The collection is a powerful statement of intent, mixing raw, live elements with sleek pop and compelling songwriting to create a signature sound very much her own.
