Liv Dawson

has popped her latest track onto YouTube - check it out here. Sadly no real video yet but the track itself stands out without one so no real complaints!

Liv Dawson has shared her second song with new offering ‘Still’.

‘Still’ follows Liv’s debut track ‘Tapestry’, which presented a mercurial first transmission from the young artist. A spacious and enchantingly wise-beyond-its-years ballad highlighted by Liv’s spellbinding voice, it went to #1 in Spotify’s UK Viral 50 Chart, #4 in the Global Viral Chart and garnered over 1.2 million plays on Spotify to date. It was featured by publications including Pigeons And Planes, V Magazine, Billboard and Hunger and at radio was championed by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 as part of her ‘New Names’ feature and Mistajam on BBC 1Xtra among others.

‘Still’ continues in these mesmerizing footsteps while hinting further at a rich emotional undercurrent, with a haunting falsetto vocal set to a propulsive electronic backdrop and gently undulating instrumentation. “It's about someone that makes a huge impact in your life. So when they leave, you notice everything that they have left their mark on”, Liv says.

Liv will be playing one of her first live performances at West London club night Blue Flowers on September 1st as well as Hackney’s Mirrors Festival on October 29th.
