Rough Trade Artists Help Warchild

Antony from Antony & The Johnsons and Babyshambles have recorded brand new songs for War Child's Help: A Day in the Life album.

Antony has collaborated with Boy George on a cover version of John & Yoko's "Happy Christmas, War Is Over", whilst Babyshambles have donated a brand new track called "From Bollywood to Battersea".

The tracks were recorded in a day and released online on the 9th. Both have already helped raise thousands of pounds for War Child as a download. Now the songs are included on the CD version, which was released on the 26th September.

Other artists involved include Gorillaz, Radiohead, Razorlight, Damien Rice, Manic Street Preachers and Keane.

The album is brilliant and costs around a tenner and includes 20 brand new songs. All the profits go to War Child - to fund its crucial work helping children affected by conflict all over the world. The album can be bought from:
