Lady Antebellum - Brooklyn Bowl, London
Country fans will be delighted to see acclaimed festival Country To Country returning to these shores on the 7th and 8th of March next year. The two day C2C bash takes place at London's O2 Arena, with the same bill also performing at Dublin's 3 Arena that weekend, with the cream of Nashville's biggest genre stars taking to the stage.
The appearance of acts like Florida Georgia Line, Brandy Clark, Brantley Gilbert and Jason Aldean are sure to please UK country lovers, with headline sets from Luke Bryan and Lady Antebellum guaranteed to end each evening with a bang!
The Nashville trio have been helping to plug the event during a short UK trip whilst also promoting their sparkly new album 747 at the same time, an intimate show showcasing the album at London's Brooklyn Ballroom giving fans their first encounter with the songs in a live setting, in a venue about the size of a couple of O2 Arena dressing rooms!
Songs like opener 'Long Stretch Of Love', 'Freestyle' and encore track '747', slotted in nicely with Lady A faves like 'Love Don't Live Here', 'American Honey' and 'Need You Now', with band member Charles Kelley exclaiming how surprised he was that a lot of the fans knew the words already. I'm sure many more will have learned them by rote by the time March comes round.
If the Lady A C2C show is as good as the Bowl performance it's bound to be memorable, as the trio were really on great form, producing an energetic and passionate set.
