T In The Park - Saturday - Balado
Saturday's T was a bit of a dreicht affair! After the previous day's glorious sunshine it was a bit of a downer to be faced with miserable weather for the majority of the day. Festival goers didn't seem that deterred mind you, as the main stage crowd was looking fairly healthy for The Stranglers when they appeared for an early afternoon career spanning set.
Fans also braved the elements for performances from a host of acts, including Katy B, Rudimental and Clean Bandit. While some of the more weather wary wanderers were treated to glorious music under cover, including an exquisite King Tut's show from birthday girl Nina Nesbitt and an exhilarating showcase of tracks from debut album Amphetamine Ballads from The Amazing Snakeheads, the stand out set of the day.
Paolo Nutini and Calvin Harris were the headliners for Saturday evening. I hung around for a bit of Paolo's set but couldn't be arsed waiting another 90 minutes for Calvin as it was still pissing down! This meant I missed the 'Fresh Prince' Will Smith taking to the stage to introduce the Scottish DJ. I was slightly disappointed when I heard Will had appeared the following day but I was more than happy to grab some food and get a decent night's sleep when I got in Saturday night, so didn't regret it for long!
