Music news round up: w/e 5 April

Tickets are now on sale for The Pierces live return to the UK, following the release of their fifth album Creation on June 2nd through Polydor. The duo will play London's KOKO on June 11th, Manchester's Club Academy on June 12th and Glasgow's Oran Mor on June 14th.

Twin Atlantic are the latest artists to announce a Record Store Day release. Their comeback track 'Heart And Soul' will be available in a limited edition run of 7" white vinyl on April 19th, ahead of its official release on May 25th. Listen to the track below.

The Acoustic Basement Tour will be headlined by Geoff Rickly of post-hardcore pioneers Thursday and United Nations. Geoff is joined on the eleven date tour by Koji, Rob Lynch and Acoustic Basement pioneer Brian Marquis. The full list of dates is as follows:

Back in June last year, UNKLE's James Lavelle saw Radkey play their debut London show at Camden's Barfly, leading to the band being picked as part of the Meltdown Festival that he is curating scheduled for June 13th-22nd. The three Radkey brothers from Missouri will release their sold out 100 Club show in a limited run of cassettes for this year's Record Store Day:
