The Music Fix wins at Ticketmaster Blog Awards
The Music Fix was one of the winners at the inaugural Ticketmaster tmBlog Awards.
Created to recognise the best blogs and digital publications across live entertainment, a total of 35 sites were nominated across seven categories which were then put to the public vote. Over a six week period, Ticketmaster received almost 10,000 votes.
Hosted by TV presenter and Xfm DJ Phil Clifton, the awards were held last night [April 24th] at The Imperial, Ticketmaster's own office event space in London, and were attended by over 100 guests. The ceremony included a DJ and acoustic set from The Howling.
Simon Presswell, Managing Director, Ticketmaster UK, said: “In recent years independent blogs and online publications have taken greater prominence in the entertainment industry, drawing readers away from traditional print media, and now play a vital role in the live entertainment industry.
“As part of our commitment to celebrating this industry, we want to put the spotlight on those that are writing about and celebrating live events for fans across the country.”
