Skindred / Soil - Cambridge Junction

Last time we saw Skindred was four years ago at Sonisphere in Knebworth, while SOiL we managed to catch in London a while back whilst supporting Puddle of Mudd. This time at The Junction SOiL were the main support act, never quite able to make that step up to the headlining act. Nevertheless, Ryan McCombs always puts in a heartfelt performance and does a fantastic job of warming up the crowd for the main act.

Benji Webbe and co arrive on stage to a buzzing crowd, hyped for a set front-loaded with tracks from their latest album Kill the Power, supported by material mainly drawn from Union Black. While fans appeared to respond more to the older material, Skindred keep it fresh with some DJ mash-ups with touring DJ, Dan Sturgess - even ending their set with a mix of System of a Down's 'Chop Suey'.
