George Michael readies new album

George Michael releases Symphonica, his sixth solo album, on 17th March. The album was recorded during the tour of the same name of 2011-12 and was co-produced by Phil Ramone.

A single, ‘Let Her Down Easy’ will be released on iTunes/digital platforms on the same day and is accompanied by a new video directed by Vaughan Arnell.

Symphonica will be released on a hardback deluxe, 17-track CD edition; a standard 14-track CD; a standard 14-track digital version and on pure audio Blu-Ray.

The album features tracks from George’s back catalogue plus interpretations of songs by some of his favourite artists. Covers include ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’, ‘My Baby Just Cares For Me’, ‘Wild Is The Wind’, Terence Trent D’Arby’s ‘Let Her Down Easy’ and ‘Idol’, from Elton John’s 1976 album, Blue Moves.
