Fleetwood Mac's John McVie diagnosed with cancer

More sad news from the music world this morning with the announcement that Fleetwood Mac's bass guitarist, John McVie has been diagnosed with cancer. The band have recent completed the European leg of their world tour and with the latest news have been forced to cancel their remaining dates in Australia and New Zealand.

Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham released the following statement...

"We hope our Australian and New Zealand fans as well as Fleetwood Mac fans everywhere will join us in wishing John and his family all the best"

McVie, 67, joined the band soon after their formation in 1967.
