The Music Flix: 3OH!3

I know what you're thinking. You're thinking "I wish I was famous and talented and could play in a band night after night to 10, 20, maybe even 23 adoring fans!"

Yeah, we hear 'ya. We used to have that dream too - until fate played its ugly hand and dictated ours was to be a life less glamourous. Still, society will always need people who know their way around a deep fat fryer.

Anyway, we do know people who get to live the rock 'n roll lifestyle - and part of that lifestyle is the chance to sleep poorly in the back of a tour bus with only the scent of your increasingly tetchy bandmates for company. Without resorting to drugs, what other amusements can these brave soldiers turn to for entertainment? Movies - that's what.

Ergo, The Music Flix! A chance for pop and rock's best and brightest to pick out a few of their favourite tour bus movies and explain why these titles are so close to their McDonald's-clogged hearts. First out the stinky bunk are Colorado duo 3OH!3, best known in the UK for their 2009 hit with Katy Perry, 'Starstrukk'. They return to battle this month with a new single and album, Omens.

Wiping the sleep from his eyes for The Music Flix is 3OH3!'s special guy, Sean Foreman.

I am not lying when I say that this soundtrack changed my life! (laughs). We still perform 'I Believe I Can Fly' at most shows and everybody knows every single word. Plus, Taz and Michael Jordan in one place, winner!

"Lilu Dallas Multi-Pass." We played a celebrity basketball game with Chris Tucker a couple years back and it was nearly impossible for me not to quote Ruby Rhod.

I think this may be one of my favorite movies of all time. If you throw Elliott Smith in any movie as the soundtrack, it might become one of my favorite movies.

I know what you are thinking..."This is my favorite movie too!" This movie may be the most comprehensive documentary I've seen since ID4 (that's Independence Day for you noobs). That is why we love it.

I know this list may be strange, but hey, these are the movies we watch! DON’T JUDGE US! (laughs) This has to be one of the best soundtracks for a movie ever.

This is the perfect movie for those days when you are like, "Hey, I'm not nearly depressed enough," or "I'm not tired - maybe I should cry myself to sleep." This movie is at the top for sure.

3OH!3 release their album Omens on 17th June, with the single 'Back To Life' due on the same day.
