Kano - Remember Me

Kano – Remember Me

Remember Me can be seen as a taster for one of the most anticipated album releases this year in UK Garage circles, Kano’s debut, Home Sweet Home.

Remember Me can also be thought of as another example of how experimental the sounds of Grime are becoming. Like Dizzee’s take on My Favourite Things, Kano takes his sound through Latin infusions drenched in Salsa with such superb hooks and intoxicating flows - when he mentions the times of being drunk on Hennessy, you’re over the edge.

Kano seems to have grown up since Boys and Girls and P’s & Q’s, his sounds now, mixed by Bloc Party producer Paul Epworth, and his delivery have grown into an artistic maturity.

But if an artistic maturity sounds disappointing to you, the B-Side, Mic Check 1, 2 Feat. Ghetto & Demon (Remix) is some darkly intensive old skool UK Garage with some wicked sped up flows man.
