Music news round-up: Weds 22 May

SD2 Festival is a new event in Brighton for Sunday 29th September. With a base at Stanmer Park, the bill already includes The Wanted and The Saturdays, with more acts to be announced soon.

The festival seeks to be family-friendly, with a 9PM curfew and a free bus back service back to Brighton or park and ride is service available.

Tickets will be £34.00 + booking from the festival website and go on sale this Friday (24th May).

Icarus Line have confirmed the release of their sixth studio album, Slave Vows for 1st July via Agitated.

A Grave With No Name release new album Whirlpool on Stare Records. The album features guest appearance from Linda Jarvis (Echo Lake), Akiko Matsuura (Comanechi) and Alanna McArdle (Ides).

Guards release their new single, 'I Know It's You' on 8th July. It is taken from their debut album In Guards We Trust out now through Partisan Records.
