Depeche Mode to appear at SXSW
Depeche Mode will be making their first ever appearance at this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
Band members Martin Gore, Dave Gahan and Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher will sit down to talk about their new album, Delta Machine, out March 25th on Columbia Records. The band will also discuss the past, present and future of Depeche Mode, as well as their upcoming world tour. This unique look inside the legendary band will be held on Wednesday, March 13th at 5pm at the Austin Convention Center. The discussion will be moderated by KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley, who hosts the LA public radio station’s signature program Morning Becomes Eclectic, as well as the dance music show Metropolis on Saturday nights. It is open to all Music and Platinum badges as well as Artist Wristbands.
The band’s new album, Delta Machine, was recorded over the last year in Santa Barbara, California and New York City and was produced by Ben Hillier and mixed by Flood. Alongside a standard CD format, Depeche Mode will release the album in an exclusive Deluxe Edition with four additional new tracks and accompanied by a 28 page hardcover book including photos by longtime artistic collaborator Anton Corbijn.
