Marianne Faithfull’s Broken English is reissued in a luxury package on 28 January, which includes the album version released in 1979, the original ‘lost’ band sessions recording, further bonus tracks and the Derek Jarman directed short film of ‘Witches Song’, ‘The Ballad of Lucy Jordan’ and ‘Broken English’.
Saxon have announced the UK leg of their 'Sacrifice World Tour' in support of the upcoming album of the same name. The NWBHM legends will play 9 dates in April 2013. Visit their website for full details.
Austra have been invited to perform as special guests to Gossip on their forthcoming European tour next month, with dates in France, Germany and Denmark. The Toronto six-piece will also stop over in London for a one off party at The Victorian Vaults in Shoreditch on Saturday 24th November.
Joe Satriani will undertake a 10-date 2013 UK tour starting Saturday 8th June at the Manchester Apollo. This will be Satriani’s first UK tour since 2010’s Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards tour. Very special guest is blues guitarist Matt Schofield.
Fire Records and Bo Weavil records have announced a re-issue of The Garbage & The Flowers’ double album Eyes Rind As If Beggars for 21 January. Available in a gatefold 2LP version and CD version, both versions come with a bonus full length CD of additional material.
Lucy Rose will be re-releasing her debut single 'Middle Of Bed' on 10th December and for that release she's issued a new video. The video was shot on her recent European tour.
On November 12th, Soft Bullets will be releasing their debut EP Hyperreality through Township Music. Soft Bullets are a transatlantic duo consisting of Chris Wall (UK) and Dan Capaldi (US) who "produce melodic, addicting, and timeless yet undeniably current alternative indie that draw also on electronic, hiphop and progressive rock."
