Lianne La Havas, Jessie Ware and Field Music to headline first Barclaycard Mercury Prize gig
Lianne La Havas, Jessie Ware and Field Music have been announced as the first artists to play a Barclaycard Mercury Prize 'Albums of the Year Live’ gig.
Taking place on September 26th at LSO St Luke’s in London is the first in a series of shows designed to showcase this year's shortlisted nominees. The gig will raise money for War Child with tickets available to fans through competitions and a special ballot system developed in association with Barclaycard Unwind and their partner The Ticket Factory. Entry is free but a donation of £10 will need to be made to War Child in order to secure each pair of tickets, with Barclaycard matching all donations made using a Barclaycard.
The ballot for this gig opens this Wednesday (19th) for 48 hours at The Ticket Factory's website.
Further gigs will be announced in the coming weeks.
