T In The Park 2012 - Sunday - Balado

My final day at T In The Park began with decent weather, which was a glorious change. The sun was almost out for classical violinist Nicola Benedetti's performance on the main stage. Although she's not the usual sort of act at T, Nicola's short stage opening set was received with roars of approval, with the cries of adoration continuing for the appearance of McFly who swiftly followed.

I have to say the three songs I caught from McFly really impressed me as the boys had terrific energy. I doubt anyone viewing the band for the first time live would have left their performance vowing to buy their albums but I'm pretty certain that they'll have gained a lot of people's respect for putting on a great show.

The rest of my Sunday afternoon also delivered decent performances, with US act Fun and pop sensation Rita Ora stand outs. The evening wasn't quite as exciting but Happy Mondays and Kasabian both produced sets that ended my weekend at T nicely. It may have been a predominately damp one but it was very enjoyable none the less.
