London four piece FLATS have announced details of their forthcoming album Better Living, which is due for release on Sweatshop Records / One Little Indian on April 30th. It will be preceded by a double A-side single 'Country / Moonwalk' released on April 23rd and a live date on Friday 27th March at Shacklewell Arms, London.
Universal Music Catalogue UK have announced the signing of the legendary British band the Sex Pistols, following the acquisition of the classic catalogue for the world excluding North America.
An expanded and repackaged edition of Never Mind The Bollocks Here’s The Sex Pistols will be scheduled for release later in 2012 to commemorate its 35th anniversary. UMC are also planning events and other releases throughout 2012 and beyond.

Aussie garage-pop ‘n’ surf-punk duo Bleeding Knees Club have debuted their new video ‘Nothing To Do’. The animated clip was directed by John Vermilyea whose previous credits include The Simpsons’ ‘Treehouse Of Horror’ and Animal Collective’s ‘My Girls.’
The band’s debut album Nothing To Do was released last Monday (27th).
London's hardcore rock'n'roll stalwarts The Smoking Hearts have announced a week of local headline shows in support of their upcoming album release, Victory!. Full details can be found below.

Primus have announced a European tour in support of Green Naugahyde, their first studio album in 11 years in stores now through Prawn Songs. The tour, which will feature two Primus sets each evening, begins on March 23rd in Pordenone, Italy, and ends with two nights in London at the Royal Albert Hall on April 4th & 5th.
The band have revealed that their first performance on the 4th at the Royal Albert Hall will feature their seminal Sailing The Seas Of Cheese album played in its entirety, followed by a complete run-through of Green Naugahyde. The second night on the 5th will feature two sets spanning their entire back catalogue.
