The Coathangers release a double a-side transparent hand-numbered 7” of ‘Hurricane’ / ’Johnny’ on 24 October. The artwork photo was taken by The Thermals’ Westin Glass and put together by Rory Attwell (Warm Brains, Test Icicles). You can hear the tracks below.
Marcella Puppini, Kate Mullins and Stephanie O'Brien AKA The Puppini Sisters release their fourth album Hollywood on 26th December. ‘Hollywood’ is a series of songs inspired by the golden age of filmmaking and includes the self-penned title track, which is the first single. The girls were also handpicked by Michael Buble to appear on two songs on his forthcoming Christmas album, including 'Jingle Bells', and will perform with him on his Christmas show for ITV1. The Puppinis will be on their traditional Christmas tour in December.

Following numerous European jaunts, tours with , The Decemberists and Okkervil River, playing for Wills & Kate on their recent trip to Canada, award nominations and appearances at Glastonbury and End Of The Road, Dan Mangan has joined City Slang. The Vancouver-based songsmith will be releasing his new album Oh Fortune in the UK on December 5th. Listen to his track 'Post War Blues' here.
With cojones the size of cartwheels and the horsepower to deliver, The Minutes were born in Dublin in the mid-Noughties out of a shared love of NYC punk rock, The Smiths and Thin Lizzy. The band’s new single 'Black Keys' shall be released on November 7th through Model Citizen Records; the first song to be taken from their debut album – Marcata - which will follow early in 2012.
The Minutes will be bringing their molten-hot throb to the UK this autumn, announced as main support for Flogging Molly alongside a string of further shows.
