Belle & Sebastian Voted Best Scottish Band Of All Time

Belle & Sebastian have been voted the best Scottish band of all time.

Readers of Scottish magazine The List, voted Travis in second place, with Idlewild coming third. The singer of Belle & Sebastian Stuart Murdoch said: “We don’t think for a moment we’re the best band in Scotland. It says more about our very loyal fans than it does about us.”

The gig at Glasgow King Tuts Wah Wah Hut saw Snow Patrol cover Belle & Sebastian’s ‘The State I Am In’, while Idlewild played a cover of Simple Minds’ ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)'.
