Sonisphere 2011 - Sunday Main Stage - Knebworth

The last day at Sonisphere felt the most busy for me, what with running between both main stages all day. It was also the nicest out of the whole weekend with the rain only making an appearance in the evening. The anticipation for Slipknot later on was pretty high, with people dressed in boiler suits, masks and wearing Paul Gray tribute t-shirts. At 2pm a two minute silence in tribute was organised; centred on Saturn stage was Paul's boiler suit on a stand with his mask and bass sitting next to it with members of the band sat on the side of the stage. The whole of arena participated in what was an emotional experience for the fans and band members, but once the 2 minutes was up the cheers was deafening. Slipknot's amazing performance was a fitting memorial.
