New single from Johnny Flynn

Johnny Flynn will release 'Churlish May' on March 28th through Transgressive Records. 'Churlish May' is to be the final single from Johnny’s critically acclaimed second album Been Listening, which features appearances from Anna Calvi and Laura Marling.

The song is a tale of a nomadic heartbreaker who has his own heart broken, set to sanguine brass and decorated with African inspired percussion and bass and Johnny’s beguiling vocals.

A very special, one-off solo performance will occur the 6th of March at The Luminaire to commemorate the London venue's last week in business. The set-to-close, 300-capacity Luminaire in Kilburn was the original site of several early Johnny Flynn performances. The performance was announced exclusively to fans this week and has already sold out.
