What do you get if you mix Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake with Gorky's Euros Childs? Well, a pretty decent little pop album that's what. While it may not burn up the charts, it will keep you satisfyingly diverted on those lonely Sunday afternoons. 70s pop, West Coast harmonies and little quirky turns of phrase in the form of such sweet little ditties as single 'Candyfloss' and opening number 'Wich Is Wich', which could almost be the theme tune to a slapstick 1970s TV sitcom. The album does go a bit wayward, for instance the over-long 'Cave Dance', but it's all harmless fun so go on, indulge.
