Beatbullyz - Human Nature
You may have heard of the Beatbullyz name but not be able to name any of their songs. Although sounding like a commercial band they still haven’t managed to get the commercial success to match. Will the release of debut ‘Human Nature’ will change all that?
Having supported the like of Example, Professor Green and JLS the Swindon boys are used to playing to large audiences and these songs are made for big venues. Atmospheric, loud and catchy, Beatbullyz have nailed that r’n’b pop dance mix, showing that they could well be the UK answer to The Black Eyed Peas. Title track and new single ‘Human Nature’ has a big pop song sound, with perfectly crafted lyrics and a building beat; you can imagine crowds chanting along at gigs. In fact, you can imagine that with most of the tracks off of ‘Human Nature,’ with the boys having pretty much mastered the genre at this early stage.
Beatbullyz are singer songwriter Andrew “Bully” Bullimore and Daniel “Bozo” Dubose, who have been working on the Beatbullyz sound for a few years now, and it shows in the spot-on production. Stand out tracks include ‘Golden City,’ ‘Bounce’ and ‘Heartbeat’ which features guest vocals from Robert Pattinson’s sister Lizzy (interesting/useless fact). With the likes of Example, N-Dubz and Chase and Status storming the charts, let’s hope they’ve left room for Beatbullyz who thoroughly deserve their place alongside them.
