Seeland - How To Live

How To Live, second album from Birmingham duo Seeland, is a lovely collection of cool electronica and psychedelia. Highlights include the carefree pop of the delightful 'Afterthoughts' and the beautiful 'Cardinal' with its dark brooding Ian Curtis-like vocals juxtaposing nicely with the lush musical arrangements. They aren't the only ones to be found though: title track 'How To Live' is light and airy, while 'Armour' has a wonderful psychedelic feel to it. While neither innovative or groundbreaking, these ten songs weave quietly in and out of your mind and can brighten up even the most wretched English summer day.
