The Saturdays
New single: WORK

29th June 2009
FASCINATION RECORDS

Ready. Set. Go. The Saturdays pick up the pace and step on it for the release of their new single Work on June 29th through Fascination Records.

The track is The Saturdays’ follow-up track to their hit single, Just Can’t Get Enough, released in March for Comic Relief.

Work sees The Saturdays head to the dancefloor and tear the roof off it. With pulsating pop beats and more hooks than you’d find in a butchers shop this is another surefire winner for the girls.

“I’m so excited about releasing Work,” says Vanessa. “It’s one of my favourite songs on the album so I’ve been really looking forward to performing the routine. It seems to be a lot of people’s favourites too so we’re hoping it will do really well.”

Work is the fifth single from the Una, Mollie, Vanessa, Rochelle and Frankie, who are fast becoming one of the biggest pop groups in the UK. Their impressive strike rate has seen their first four singles debut in the top ten and their debut album, ‘Chasing Lights’ reach the platinum sales mark (300,000) in the space of a few months.

The band’s profile is bound to go up several more notches during the course of their upcoming tour. The girls will be embarking on their first UK headline tour this summer, which starts in Glasgow on June 2nd and takes in a further 23 dates.
