Esteemed keyboard manufacturer Brydge has unveiled a new line of iPad Pro keyboards compatible with the 2018 models of Apple’s high-end tablet.
Available in both 11 inch and 12.9 inch variations, as well as Space Grey and Silver finishes, the keyboards are designed to match the unique aesthetic of the tablets, seemingly converting the iPad into a Macbook.
Able to be used as a keyboard, or flipped over to “Tablet Mode” for use with the Apple Pencil as a tablet, the Brydge keyboard for iPad Pro also offers a “Movie Mode” for setting the tablet on a flat surface.
That’s not all – unlike Apple’s own keyboard attachment, Brydge’s latest offers backlit keys that are balanced in the interest of typing accuracy. Also included is an optional protective cover for the real of an iPad.
Packing 12 months of battery life, and a limited lifetime warranty, it could be the perfect addition to those using the iPad Pro as their primary workflow tool.
Perhaps best of all, the device retails at less than the Apple branded smart keyboard. The 11 inch model costs £149.99, while the 12.9 inch one is priced at £169.99.
Pre-orders are available now, while the first orders are currently slated to ship in mid-Spring.
