Amazon's tablet lineup grows with the Kindle Fire HD8 and Kindle Fire HD8 Kids Edition

Amazon have unveiled their latest two tablets - the new Kindle Fire HD 8 and the Kindle Fire HD 8 Kids Edition.

The Kindle Fire HD 8 offers 10 hours of battery life and one million pixels on screen. It also super-charges Alexa and provides hands-free access to your device.

The device comes with 16GB on-board storage with support for an additional 400GB via microSD card.

The device also comes with a new 'Show Mode' for Alexa that is designed for across-room visibility and there is a new Show Mode Charging Dock available that will automatically switch your tablet into this mode turning your tablet into an impressive alternative to the Echo Show.
