You would be forgiven for thinking this was an old-school Speccy!

Elite Systems - yes that old ZX Spectrum game publisher - are still going strong and have just announced a new Bluetooth keyboard made to resemble the classic rubber-keyed ZX Spectrum. The keyboard is aimed at retro gamers who want to use the keyboard to accurately recreated their 8-bit gaming exploits of old and it certainly looks the part. The project is currently subject to a Kickstarter appeal too...imageIt's certainly a lovely idea, but we'd actually REALLY like to see a standalone Speccy replica that we can plug into any TV without the need for an intermediary device - maybe with an SD card crammed with games - so how about it guys?

We need your help

Running a website like The Digital Fix - especially one with over 20 years of content and an active community - costs lots of money and we need your help. As advertising income for independent sites continues to contract we are looking at other ways of supporting the site hosting and paying for content.

You can help us by using the links on The Digital Fix to buy your films, games and music and we ask that you try to avoid blocking our ads if you can. You can also help directly for just a few pennies per day via our Patreon - and you can even pay to have ads removed from the site entirely.
