Samsung unveils Galaxy S4 mini
Samsung has revealed details of its new Galaxy S4 Mini which comes on the back of its fastest selling smartphone ever in April. The device has a 4.3" screen, smaller than the S4's 5" display, and runs on a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, compared to its larger counterpart's 1.9GHz quad-core chip. The S4 Mini has an 8-megapixel camera on its rear, compared with the S4's 13 megapixels.
It will be available in black and white and supports 4G in selected markets. The handset shares many of the features of the S4, such as Sound&Shot, which captures music and voice when photos are taken. It will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which Samsung has skinned with its TouchWiz interface.
The manufacturer said more details will be provided at its Samsung Premiere 2013 event, which will take place in London on 20 June. Phones 4u said the device will hopefully go on sale in July.
