4G Mobile Services for 16 UK Cities by the end of 2012

Mobile service provider EE (formerly Everthing Everywhere) have announced that they will launch 4G Mobile Services in 16 UK Cities, including London, Manchester, Cardiff, Belfast and Glasgow, by the end of the year.

In addition to offering handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy SIII and the Nokia Lumia series, the company will also have equipment ready for launch that will allow users to connect their laptops to the 4G Network.

The rollout is expected to continue well into next year, with an aim to provide the UK with 98% coverage by the year 2014.
