Turok returns with an adorable new 2D art style

The Nintendo 64 dinosaur hunting FPS, Turok, is returning in 2019 with an incredibly cute chibi-style 2D art style, developed by Pillow Pig Games.

Turok: Escape from Lost Valley changes up the formula with an isometric camera angle and significantly less violent combat. Instead of headshotting T-Rex's, your blocky protagonist will have to master the bow and arrow to defeat creatures who dare stand in their way. Pillow Pig Games earned the chance to use the Turok license after participating in the Universal Gamedev Challenge which tasked indie devs to create games out of their movie properties. Gbanga won the overall competition with Voltron: Cubes of Olkarion, but Pillow Pig obviously impressed enough with Turok: Escape from Lost Valley, as both games are releasing July 25th on Steam, published by Universal Studios Interactive Entertainment.
