US tech company, Analogue, have revealed that they have been working on an updated Game Boy to celebrate the device’s 30th birthday. It’ll be able to play ever game released on the platform between 1989 and 2008!
The Analogue Pocket features a lovely mono screen and gorgeous sharp edges ditching the rounded look of the original Nintendo handheld. It will feature a rechargeable battery with USB-C support and stereo speakers. The buttons will be fully mappable.
The Analogue Pocket will retail at $199 and will be released next year. Whether the device gets a UK release and price remains to be seen.
