The best of the rest from XO18

Platforms: Microsoft Xbox One

You can watch the full XO18 stream above but to save you time we've picked out some of the highlights from the show - including Crackdown 3's release date, sixteen new games for Xbox Game Pass and two new additions to the Microsoft Studios family.

On top of that there were other exciting announcements to come out of Mexico overnight...

Minecraft getting cats AND pandas...

No details on the actual release date of this update yet though...

Co-op is coming to Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Take on the challenge tombs with a friend in a new update to Shadow of the Tomb RaiderThe Forge. While you can take on each tomb alone, this new update will allow you to work together with a friend or work against them to see who can do the challenge most quickly.

Mouse and Keyboard support

FPS players know that a mouse and keyboard are the best way of playing, so news that Microsoft are working hard on dedicated support for non-controller peripherals is good news. While the support won't be global, they will be supporting it across a decent selection of games including Fortnite alongside Bomber Crew, Warface, Children of Morta, Minion Masters, DayZ, Warframe, Strange Brigade, Deep Rock Galactic, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Moonlighter, War Groove, Vigor, War Thunder and Xmorph Defense.

They are also working with Razer to create Xbox branded devices that will be arriving next year - although you should be able to use any mouse and keyboard you like.

Final Fantasy hitting Xbox in a big way

Xbox players will be able to play a huge selection of Final Fantasy games starting with the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy which hit Xbox One backwards compatibility next week. They'll be followed in 2019 by Final Fantasy VII, IX, X, X-2 and 12. That's a LOT of retro JRPG goodness there making up hundreds of hours of gameplay!
