Scribblenauts Showdown is coming in March

Platforms: All

Various hints that the Nintendo DS classic puzzler Scribblenauts was due to get a next gen update have been circulating for a while - not least the classification of the game in Japan and more recently Europe. However, now Warner have finally confirmed the game is coming and has a 9th March release date.

Check out the announcement teaser above.

There are multiplayer modes for two people which involve 25 mini games and a card-based strategy mode for up to four players. This is in addition to the more traditional single player sandbox mode that allows players to solve puzzles by entering various combinations of words.

The original Scribblenauts was a huge hit on the Nintendo DS so we're quietly confident that the major consoles will bring us a game worth playing.
