Railway Empire will be pulling into station a little bit late on the Nintendo Switch

Platforms: Nintendo Switch

Kalypso have announced that Railway Empire has had a slight delay due to a signalling issue somewhere outside of Didcot Parkway and is now scheduled to arrive on the Nintendo Switch on 27th March.

This new edition of the game includes the main game (with all added content and improvements since its initial launch), alongside the Mexico DLC, Crossing the Andes DLC, and The Great Lakes DLC. The Germany DLC, France DLC, and Great Britain & Ireland DLC will also be available as additional purchases via Nintendo eShop.

We enjoyed Railway Empire when it was released on PC and consoles a few years ago so having the option to play it while on the move is an exciting proposition to us.

We need your help

Running a website like The Digital Fix - especially one with over 20 years of content and an active community - costs lots of money and we need your help. As advertising income for independent sites continues to contract we are looking at other ways of supporting the site hosting and paying for content.

You can help us by using the links on The Digital Fix to buy your films, games and music and we ask that you try to avoid blocking our ads if you can. You can also help directly for just a few pennies per day via our Patreon - and you can even pay to have ads removed from the site entirely.
