Persona 5's Joker and Version 3.0 Update hit Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tomorrow

Now, Nintendo wants a piece of the action in a big way with details on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 3.0 Update.
He's here to take our hearts! Joker from Persona 5 is being released on April 18th (April 17th in the US) as part of Fighter Pack 1. The leader of the Phantom Thieves wields both his signature dagger and pistol, the latter of which he can fire while dodging. Combined with his cat-like agility, Joker can close the gap fairly quickly to slice and dice his foes into oblivion. Of course, it wouldn't be a Persona character without an actual Persona joining the fray. Persona 5's protagonist has his own special Rebellion gauge which fills up as he takes damage. He can fill it up even faster by using Rebel's Guard to absorb hits, halving the damage he receives and pushing opponents back upon release. Once the gauge is full, Joker summons Arsene to his side. As long as Joker's manifestation of his rebellious nature is around, his damage is increased and his special moves gain new properties.
