Narrative games convention AdventureX is back for 2019, and June 9th is the deadline to apply to exhibit your weird and wonderful gamesPlatforms: All
AdventureX, a gaming convention aiming to highlight and celebrate narrative-driven video games and the developers with a passion for making them, is returning in November 2019 and you've not got long to apply to exhibit your game.
The expo, which will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of November 2019 at the British Library in London, is closing its window to apply to exhibit your game at midnight on June 9th. That's this Sunday!
AdventureX aims to showcase the smaller, weirder, narrative-focused games that might not receive support otherwise. The expo's website explains why you should exhibit your game at AdventureX:
"Because you want to share your project with an audience that’s focused on narrative gaming. At AdventureX, you’ll meet people who are passionate about exactly the kind of game you’re making. You might meet future playtesters, voice actors, indie publishers etc".
"AdventureX isn’t the biggest event in the world. You won’t hand out 1000 flyers – this is part of the reason we don’t charge exhibitors to show off their games. What AdventureX does offer is a friendly, non-corporate opportunity to share your creation with other people who love story-driven games".
Yes, there is no charge to show off your game, something I'm sure is music to the ears of many developers.
Before applying, be sure to check out the requirements for getting your game approved for the expo.
Again, this is your last chance to apply to get your game seen, AdventureX are looking for diverse games and diverse creators, so head on over to their application page.
