Bandai Namco have released more information about upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball Legends and the game is really begining to look interesting. It is a one finger fighting game that utilises cards to represent your attacks and allows you to string them together to perform powerful special attacks.

Along with this is the announcement that there will be a brand new character designed by Akira Toriyama just for this title. The character appears to be a Saiyan and there is some good looking artwork released along with the newcomer that suggests that they may be a match for the series protaganist Goku.

The characters seen so far include series mainstays like Goku, Vegeta and Frieza as well as lesser utilised characters like Pan from the Dragon Ball GT era. This is pretty interesting as if GT characters are included the potential end roster of the game could be massive including characters like Omega Shenron and Super Saiyan 4 Goku.

There will be a closed which can be applied for between 21st March 05:30 to 26th March 18:00 (PST). There will also be tournaments held in multiple cities in order to see who the strongest fighter is. The good news is you can register today on the App Store and Google Play and there will be some cool rewards which will scale up depending on how many people register.

Take a look at the screenshots which show off the games impressive graphics and a brief look at what to expect with the fights as well:
