Here are the Playstation Classic games

Platforms: Sony PlayStation

The Sony PlayStation Classic is arriving this December - Sony's answer to the SNES Classic features twenty built in games, two controllers and a diminutive recreation of the console that started the PlayStation craze. Now we have the full list of twenty games that are included with the console...

  • Battle Arena Toshinden
  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Destruction Derby
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Intelligent Qube
  • Jumping Flash
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Mr Driller
  • Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
  • Rayman
  • Resident Evil Directors Cut
  • Revelations: Persona
  • Ridge Racer Type 4
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tekken 3
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6
  • Twisted Metal
  • Wild Arms

It's a pretty diverse range with some glaring omissions - where is Wipeout? That game was responsible for selling a huge number of consoles. Or Gran Turismo - one of the most impressive games of the generation. Obviously 20 games isn't a lot when you have a library the size of the original PlayStation and there's no denying that list contains some classics, but missing out cornerstones is more than a little of a shame when you consider this is the fixed game list and it can't be changed.

The PlayStation Classic lands on 3rd December.
