Heavy Rain is getting a PC demo on May 24th ready for Epic Games Store exclusive release in June

Quantic Dream's psychological thriller, Heavy Rain, is releasing exclusively for PC on the Epic Games Store on June 24th, in preparation for release, the developer has announced that a PC demo is coming tomorrow, May 24th.

The demo will be identical to the demo released on PlayStation 3 prior to its launch almost 10 years ago in February 2010. The PC demo will obviously be an updated version of the PS3 demo, but the format remains the same.

The demo lasts around 45 minutes and features two full chapters from the game. The two chapters see players assume the role of both Norman Jayden,
"an FBI profiler brought in to help local law enforcement find and capture the Origami Killer", and Scott Shelby, "a private investigator hired by families of past victims to bring their killer to justice".

The full release on June 24th will see Heavy Rain receive a 4K update, running at 60 FPS.

Heavy Rain is currently up for preorder for £5.99 in the Epic Mega Sale, in which you can save £10 off every game (those that are participating) over £13.99.

Three of Quantic Dreams' recent releases are hitting the Epic Games Store exclusively: Heavy Rain hits June 24th; Beyond: Two Souls launches July 22nd with a demo on June 27th; and Detroit: Become Human is scheduled for later this year, with a demo to come at some point in the summer.
