GhostWire: Tokyo announced by The Evil Within creators - investigate Tokyo's vanishing populationPlatforms: All
During Bethesda's E3 2019 Showcase, GhostWire: Tokyo was announced by the creators of The Evil Within, Tango Gameworks.
There was no date or platforms given, but we did get a fascinating trailer. Check it out below.
In an underwhelming and disjointed Bethesda E3 conference, GhostWire: Tokyo burst in with a marvellous trailer that, while apparently not a horror game, definitely gave spooky vibes. Tango call it an action-adventure game, but we're hoping for a little of that creepy The Evil Within atmosphere.
Alongside the trailer, we have a description of the game's story:
"After strange disappearances hit Tokyo’s population, it’s up to you to uncover the source and purge the city of a strange, new evil. Armed with your own mysterious spectral abilities, you will face down the occult, unravel conspiracy theories and experience urban legends like never before. Don’t fear the unknown. Attack it."
While the trailer is fantastic and the story sounds very interesting, we simply have no idea what kind of game this is, but we sure are excited to find out.
